Job Description

 

As an integral member of the Family and Community Engagement (FACE) team, the family engagement coordinator supports the development and implementation of school-based family engagement plans and the facilitation of family engagement focused professional learning across the school division.  In addition to leading professional learning sessions, the coordinator is responsible for onboarding new family liaisons and evaluating program effectiveness by maintaining data on professional learning and engagement efforts. This role collaborates closely with family liaisons, school-based staff and department staff to design and implement programs and activities that follow family engagement best practices and align with the division’s strategic goals.

 

The family engagement coordinator reports to the assistant director of family and community engagement. 

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in education, social sciences, community engagement, communications or related field. Master’s Degree preferred.


Certificates & Licenses: Valid Driver’s License required.

Languages: Spanish-speaking preferred
